It is time to step up America! This "leader" of ours is going to continue to disgrace us with his lack of American pride and respect, unless we stop him now! Now he is rescinding part of the law again in his favor. He is doing it so that he and his team of idiots ,that refuse to read laws that are being presented, can attempt to come out looking more clean. Of course they dismiss everything and make it look as if it is a republican plot. The Democrats have come up with only about 17 fixes to Obama-care and the Republicans have brought up over 100 fixes. You have to really wonder what is wrong the democratic party. Here they are people, like Harry Reid, who don't care about real law. They just want what will be best for their pockets and will literally kiss the ass of someone who they think people will follow, it doesn't even matter if the person is a complete moron, socialist, or even a liar and thief. Look at what the President is now basically saying and doing. He is doing exactly what the republicans have been trying to get him to do this whole time. They have accepted the fact that they can't get rid of the law, but they can find ways to help make it better for America. Now all of a sudden the president realizes that when it comes to America, many people are listening to what is actually being said. They realize that he is continually lying and trying to ignore what America is yelling! It is embarrassing that it takes an ex-president to make Obama finally take some action toward fixing this train wreck that is Obama-care.
Can you believe that 3 college kids were able to build a website to replace healthcare.gov in just a long weekend? How is it that a company that does this professionally, of course they aren't even American, is left looking totally inept? The questions could keep coming and coming if we really wanted to ask questions that no one will answer. Apparently the programmers are setting up the website to handle only about 20,000 users per hour. Do you realize that at that rate there will not be enough time, for everyone that the governments says is not on insurance, to fill out and get approved for the insurance. The question that won't be answered is, what is the real reason the website is so totally bogged down. It is probably bogged down with all the information gathering and worms and trojan horses, so that it will be almost impossible to get it to run smoothly. Now we hear that months before the roll out, the programmers were telling Obama's people that it was not ready. As of now it may only be 80%, which of course means that it will not be able to serve everyone trying to get on.
It is amazing to think about how much information gathering this administration has been going after. All from the time that Obama was running for the senate the first time. He is amazing at getting information about others and using it against them to push his agenda. It makes you wonder if that is why the whole of the democratic party were pushing so hard and were so upset about getting it done ASAP. I learned just today that one of Pelosi's minions were trying to push through a bill that would allow for a law to be pushed through without a vote if an amendment written for it was to pass. This is the mentality of this whole administration, why try and come to an agreement just force it. If you don't agree with it then you must be a terrorist, racist, or you are just trying to scare the American people. I don't understand why the majority of people had to wait to see this whole government getting ready to blow up and take the USA with it.
Did you know that this whole thing happening with Iran would have given them the opportunity to keep going on with their nuclear program if France hadn't stepped in? Obama and Kerry are going to put America in a place that we as a country don't want to be. After they leave office who knows if they just don't disappear so that when some terrorist with a dirty bomb comes Obama and Kerry will be no where to be found. Kerry is out there telling the Palestinians that they will have the right to an intifada, that Israel is increasingly becoming more and more illegitimate to the world. I just don't understand what this administration is all about, I am so confused!
When as a people are we going to be done with all this nonsense? It is time to take America back!! We need someone to come in and totally turn Washington on it's ear. I can only hope that America will stand up for itself and get rid of these full of crap liberals. You know that a liberal is a bad thing when a liberal judge in a state as conservative as Alabama lets a rapist basically off. This supposed judge James Woodruff, found Austin Smith Clem guilty of 3 counts of rape, 1 count of 1st degree rape and 2 counts of 2nd degree rape all to be served consecutively. Then all of a sudden Woodruff suspends the sentence for 2 years in a reform program and 3 years of probation. Where is the justice for the young women this scum rapped? Makes you wonder if Woodruff would have a different view if it were his child being rapped. But this is my point, we as America need to take back our country and revamp what these libs are completely screwing up. The worst thing of all is that these people are using the fact that they are in America to kill America. I just don't understand how these people that used the American Dream to excel in life are trying to kill that dream for everyone else.
It is time to take America back, and in a big way.
Our World, Views of a Poor Man
Random thoughts about today's issues from someone that can see the issues from both sides. I am poor, yet I don't expect to be or want to be completely dependent on a government that doesn't even know I exist.

A Part-time World
So I was thinking today about how some Americans want to work more than this idiotic 30 hour magic number that Obama has put on our businesses. In my "real job" there are several great people who want to work, but because of some stipulated random number, they are unable to work more than 29 hours. Companies have to take a stand and decide, if the worker averages 30 hours or more over a 6 month period, to pay a $6000 fine or offer the worker full time insurance. If you have ever seen the prices of Cobra insurance then you understand how much that could cost a company per person. This could literally shut medium sized businesses down. I completely understand why we need insurance reform, I don't have insurance for me or my wife. I do however feel that it is mine to decide whether I need it or even want it. I do know that I cannot afford my companies insurance. Thank the Lord that my kids are covered, there is no way that I could afford to live without the pharmacy coverage. So I guess what I am getting at is that the government needs to stay out of our businesses. Obama gives BILLIONS of dollars to companies without our permission and then allows them to fold like a bad poker hand yet make off with OUR tax money. Now he sticks his hands into our lives! If you want insurance reform then give the insurance companies mandates as to what THEY must do. As private citizens it is our right to choose or not choose insurance and how many hours we want to work!

The above link tries to explain the way that this new law works with a cutesy cartoon. However it does not really explain all the little nuance changes that the government is making, like forcing health care companies to change coverage's, and because they have to change the coverage the policies are not grandfathered in. So when Obama says that you can keep your plan, what he means is if we don't make them change anything then you can keep your plan. Also because of the mandate, many part time employees are forced off of their plans and into the marketplace. If a company cannot offer certain coverage on their plans then they cannot offer the policy at all. It is my personal opinion that Insurance needs a makeover, however all of the medical community does not. How is this, If the government wants so badly to control health care, then why not just open more VA type hospitals and offer health care to everyone. Low cost, let people make payments and keep it simple, those that want better can pay for their insurance and go where ever they want. It would be nice to see some changes to insurance, no refusals for those with preexisting conditions, and children, and elderly. There must also be a major push forward on eliminating smoking and drugs. Regular screenings and nutritionists available for those that are obese.
There are so many things this government could do to really make life more simple, but instead all that it wants is control. Please get involved and support your communities and make sure that you are putting those in office that have the same values and beliefs that you do. I would like to leave you with this one last thought from Red Skelton http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZBTyTWOZCM God Bless America!

Greetings From the Poor Man
Hello, I am literally a nobody. I make less than $30,000 per year and am on assistance. My family consists of 5 children, 1 just out on her own, 2 still in high school. 1 of my high schoolers lives with my exwife in another state, and the other high schooler just started his high school career. I have another one in the 4th grade and one more that is not old enough for school. The reason that I want you to know this is because my views are more in line with someone who may be more affluent.
I was raised in several cities in Florida, went to 4 different elementary schools, only 1 middle school, and 2 high schools. My parents, which divorced when I was 2, have both remarried 2 and 3 more times respectively. My father opened up his own business and now struggles with diabetes and no insurance. My mother married a salesman that bought into a business and is now more affluent.
So as you can see, I probably take after my father more than my mother. At 40 I am hoping that in the next 10 years I can work out all my money issues and finally be able to actually SUPPORT my family. At one point I was considered a dead beat dad. I have owed as much as $25,000 in back child support. The great thing is that I will be caught up completely by the end of his high school career. As with many other people, I am in debt and struggling to keep up with everything. There was a time when my mother didn't want to get a call from me because I was probably going to ask for help financially. She was right! I had to cut ties for a while so that I didn't have that option. Now I know that I can call her and have a real conversation and if I really need help, fix it myself!
This is just a brief view of who I am. I know that I am not alone and I know that I am not the only one with my views. I just needed a place to vent my thoughts and maybe even have some great dialogue with some great people.
So I see today that Gallop has a pole out called "Americans' Perception of Governmental Power." In this pole Gallop show that since 2002 Republicans, Democrats and Independents perceive the Governments power differently. What a shock eh! Who ever is in power, whether it is Republicans or Democrats, the other party thinks the government has too much power. However between 2002 and 2009 the two parties averaged only 11 percentage points difference in their views. So only a small percentage of more Democrats thought the government had too much power. Lets switch to after 2009 to 2013 the average flips dramatically. The Republicans and to a little less degree the Independents average a 46 percentage point difference. So what does this mean to me? Well lets look at the Independents, they had the same views from 2002 - 2009 as the democrats. Now they are more in line with the Republicans. To me the Independents are a group of self made people who don't see perfectly eye to eye with either group. The are not sellouts and are not afraid to stand up and vote what they actually feel is best. Now if this group feels this strongly about the power shift of the government then there probably is an actual issue. Even though their percentage has only increased about 10 percent, the disparity between what was and what is now is just too great to ignore.
The government as a whole, the Republicans and Democrats, have not proven lately that they are actually voting for anyone except themselves. Either they vote to keep the status quo or they vote to stop it. My biggest question is, how do you vote with out actually knowing what you are really voting for? In the case of the Affordable Care Act or "Obamacare", how can you vote without actually reading what isn't written? I am all for the representatives of this great nation voting for something they feel will help the country as a whole, however an educated person doesn't vote for something they don't actually understand. This is where the disparity between parties really is. A man creates an idea for a better way to give health care so that the people he has worked with in the inner city can get health care. I get it! However, he didn't have the whole thing written when it went to the floor to get voted into law. Now you have many people losing hours at work and many being laid off because the representatives voted for something that they never understood. At some companies who provide health care for their par-time associates, they will have to no longer offer it and send those associates to the exchanges. So now you have people that can't get hours and can't get health care through their employers have to go to health care system that no one has any idea how it is going to work. The exchanges are minimizing the amount of doctors allowed to be used so they can decrease the costs of health care. What will this mean? Is it going to be days or weeks to seen? What is the quality going to be like? How much will it be? Will there be any breaks for healthy people? Will the government make sure that families with drug dependency not be covered? That would only be fair because someone who has never taken any drugs shouldn't be burdened with someone else's personal choices. That can go for smoking also. Second hand smoke is one thing, but if you choose to smoke or take illegal substances you should pay for your own choices.
So this is my first line of thought. I have to go and get ready for my work day, let me know what you think.
